Process:

Submission requests sent to GEC members: February 22nd – Deadline for comments

• Each submission has a Qualtrics survey link, reviewers will use that link to enter their comments where appropriate.
• There will be a lead reviewer and a secondary reviewer. The lead reviewer will present the course in the GEC meeting.
• Once each reviewer has entered their comments C. Griffith will compile the comments into a document to be shared with the submitters.

Comments sent to Submitters: February 23rd

• Submitters will receive comments and respond in email to C. Griffith.
• C. Griffith will include the responses in the Review Comment document.

Deadline for Submitter responses: March 1st

Posting of Comments: Estimated for March 2nd

• C. Griffith will post the Review Comment document on the FORA webpage for the GEC and share via GEC listserv.
• The document will also be shared with the committee via email the week of the meeting.

Review Resources:

I have created a Webpage with examples of previously approved courses, informational links, and previous comment document examples. Please refer to this page for assistance in what to focus on in the reviews. As of Spring 2021 there is no longer a separate Quest committee, as such the GEC is now expected to review both General Education Content and Quest content in the course requests.
