Spring 2021 Quest 2 Courses

About Quest 2

Quest 2 courses fulfill three credits of the General Education requirement in the Biological Sciences, the Physical Sciences, or the Social and Behavioral Sciences. Some may also be used to fulfill three credits of the Diversity or International requirement and/or count toward the Writing requirement. Quest courses count towards the major in which the instructor teaches at the discretion of that department; for information about this, speak to the Quest 2 course instructor, as listed below.

Quest 2 courses cannot be taken to fulfill either the UF Quest 1 or UF Core requirement.

A note is provided in the Schedule of Courses for each Quest 1 and Quest 2 course so you can easily distinguish them. In One.UF, you can also search for Quest courses by selecting either Quest 1 or Quest 2 in the Course Properties filter and then clicking search.

Course Format

For Spring 2021, many Quest courses will be offered simultaneously in two different formats. They will have a section that meets face-to-face in the classroom simultaneously with an online section that will participate in the meeting via Zoom. Please consult the Schedule of Courses, which will indicate whether the section meets online or in the classroom. If you register for an online section with meet times, you will be required to participate in the Zoom meeting during the times specified in the Schedule of Courses. Most Quest courses will not record their Zoom meetings.
